Salvage and Wreck Removal

Mubarak Marine has been Salvage and Wreck removal services in the Middle East region since three decades.  Hundreds of vessels have been refloated or their wrecks removed to the satisfaction of the hull and machinery underwriters, P&I clubs and regional authorities. Our diversified fleet and experience give us the leverage to tackle the challenges and intricacies involved in marine salvage.

We have a reputation for being extremely fast and prompt on response thereby giving customers time and cost savings. It is no surprise that given our reputation, we were unanimously elected to the  International Salvage Union (ISU).  We have contributed to the association with our role as part of the Association’s subcommittees.

November 2012 – Refloatation of grounded yacht “Al Yahi” off Sir Abu Nayr Island, U.A.E


April 2012 – Salvage of sunken/capsized Dredger “Target 12″ offshore Dubai waters, U.A.E


February 2012 – Wreck removal of sunken 45m class deepsea Tug”White Whale” offshore Umm Al Quwain waters, U.A.E.


May 2011 – Salvage of capsized 10,000 dwt Cargo Barge”MAHRA IV” offshore Dubai waters.


October 2010 – Refloatation of sunken 20m LOA Tug boat in Hamariya Port, Dubai


June 2010 – Refloatation of grounded yacht “ROSA 2″ at The World Islands, Dubai, U.A.E


May 2010 – Refloatation of sunken (fire damaged) fishing Trawler “BAEKYANG 27″ at Ajman Port Berth, UAE.


February 2010 – Refloatation of sunken yacht “DP 155″at Palm Jumeirah Beach area, Dubai.


July 2009 – Salvage operation of “DEMAS VICTORY”, Re-floating of capsized and sunken OSV DEMAS VICTORY in Doha (Qatar) waters. The tragedy led to the unfortunate loss of 35 lives. Mubarak Marine remained on standby for a week awaiting orders to begin recovery of the vessel. Utilizing our 400ton Sheer leg crane barge Al Amlaq and 2 tugs. We completed the wreck recovery and tow to Qatar port within 10 days.


May 2009 – Refloatation of sunken and capsized Tug AL AIN in Abu Dhabi waters.


April 2009 – Refloatation of sunken and capsized Landing Craft DANAH III in Abu Dhabi coastal waters near Jebel Dhanna


February-March 2009 – Salvage operations related to MT KASHMIR; Chemical Tanker caught fire after a collision offshore Jebel Ali Port, Dubai; operations included lightering operations of the cargo and Pollution
