The company offers a variety of vessels to suit the ever growing needs of its client base within the Middle East and beyond. From its inception, the company’s fleet has grown today to a diverse fleet of 38 vessels. With newbuildings in the pipeline, Mubarak Marine continues to strive to modernise its fleet and cater to the ever changing marine and offshore requirements of the industry.

Onshore our fleet and crew members are supported by a team of hard working and well trained support staff, who work around the clock to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our fleet. History :

1979 – Founded by three Emirati brothers as a family run business with its offices based in Dubai, UAE and operating a single vessel with 10 employees.

1982 – Within one year of inception Mubarak Marine was able to double its fleet and by 1982 was operating 4 vessels.

1985 – Seeing lack of Salvage operators within the region, Mubarak Marine started offering Towage and Salvage services to grounded, sunken and decommissioned vessels. This went on to become one of Mubarak’s specialties and niche service that it offers today.

1988 – By the late-80s, the company had ventured into offering pilotage and harbor towage services within Dubai Creek and Hamriyah Port, Dubai. Today it operates the largest fleet of Harbour Tugs in the area and carries out majority of the operations within the Dubai Creek and Hamriyah Port.

1997 – Signs a long term 3 year contract with IOOC for Tanker Towing and Berthing Assistance.

1999 – Signs a long terms contract with Yemen Hunt oil Company, Yemen for Tanker Berthing and SBM operations.

2002 – Accommodation Work Barge “Millennium 1” is delivered, becoming the first vessel of its kind vessel built in the UAE.

2004 – Establishes its first overseas office in Singapore.

2005 – Signs a 5 year contract with Chevron, Thailand for provision of Work Barge Services at its Benchman Field, Offshore Thailand.

2003-2006 –Working with Nakheel towards clearance of wrecks from sea bed, offshore Dubai and transporting rocks for Palm Jumeirah and World Islands.

2007 – Signs a long term contract with the Federal Coast Guard for provision of Patrol Tugs.

2008 – Establishes its second overseas office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

2009 – Establishes a branch office in Abu Dhabi.

2010 – Takes Delivery of Accommodation Work Barge “Millennium 2” and Anchor Handling Tug “Mubarak Challenger”, both built locally by its sister concern Dubai Shipbuilding & Engineering (DSBE) LLC.

2012 – Ground breaking ceremony for securing 33,000sqm space in Dubai Maritime City, a world-class center for maritime activities in the Middle East.

2013 – Mubarak Marine signs a long-term partnership agreement with Dubai Maritime City to develop an industrial complex for maritime services, shipbuilding and repair worth $35m. 

The Overall Management Committee of International Marine Contractors Association(IMCA) approves induction of Mubarak Marine in its Middle East & India Section with participation in the Marine Division as a world-wide Contractor Member.

DP2 AHTS "Dubai Star" is delivered, becoming the first vessel of its kind built in the UAE

2014 – Mubarak Marine joins British Safety Council

DP2 AHTS "Marco Star" is delivered, becoming 2nd vessel of its kind (after Dubai Star) to be built in the UAE

2015 – Mubarak Marine becomes a full member of the International Salvage Union (ISU) with unanimous election by the current membership of the Union and also becomes the first ISU member from the Middle East.
